Create it REAL validates Programmable Foam® for serial production
AALBORG, Denmark – September 2026 – Create it REAL today announced the successful transition of its Programmable Foam® technology from small-scale custom orthotics to high-end serial production. Validated by the commercial success of the AireRx® wheelchair cushion line, developed and sold by Swedish company Salubrious, this technology is built on a simple, vital premise: when your life depends on a wheelchair, you deserve to be well seated, with the comfort needed to prevent pain and pressure injuries.
The partnership with Salubrious began several years ago, as they recognized the potential of Programmable Foam® for the Swedish tender-based market. This collaboration led to the development of the AireRx® line, featuring three specialized cushions. These products combine years of clinical experience with advanced testing and incorporate a proprietary design ID that makes it impossible to visually replicate the internal structure.
Following successful tender wins in late 2025 and early 2026, demand for the AireRx® line surged rapidly. Create it REAL responded by efficiently ramping up manufacturing operations, demonstrating the technology’s readiness for large-scale commercial orders while maintaining rigorous quality standards.
