Release of REALvision Embrace 1.8.6 boosts performance and strengthens workflows

A central part of the Embrace suite is the REALvision Embrace slicer and print preparation tool. This is where the real magic happens when you apply advanced settings to your CAD model. Built on our REALvision core, it is our flagship software: we carefully control every detail so the instructions sent to the 3D-printers are precise. REALvision Embrace provides slicing and print preparation for the Embrace product suite, covering:

Embrace Seat solution for cushions and seating orthoses.
Embrace Corset solution for spinal braces, soft body jackets, and prosthetic sockets.

We have officially released REALvision Embrace version 1.8.6, bringing performance optimizations, intuitive design features, and workflow automation to minimize manual tasks for orthopedic professionals using 3D printing services.

Refreshed look and feel

You will immediately notice a refreshed visual identity featuring an updated logo, a vibrant green splash screen, and modernized color schemes throughout the application interface.

Automated slicing job reports

Communicating job details with customers is now easier than ever. Version 1.8.6 introduces automated order confirmation reports, allowing operators to generate detailed PDFs with custom order information and screenshots to align expectations before printing begins.

Paint-on 3D modifiers and model interaction

Paint-on modifiers are now available for all connected 3D printers, enabling intuitive modifications that follow your model’s geometry.

Workflow improvements

Additionally, interaction has been upgraded with a redesigned hardness selection menu and a new right-click context menu on models for faster access to key features.

Precision measurement tool

Originally introduced in the G-code viewer, the ruler measurement tool is now accessible directly in the model view, enabling precise dimensional checks before slicing.

IP address connection fallback

To better serve organizations in restricted or secure network environments, REALvision Embrace now lets you connect directly to printers by manually entering their local IP address.

Multi-window workflow

Printing specialists can now launch multiple independent application instances simultaneously, making it seamless to compare workspace setups or prepare several print jobs side by side.

Print job splitter

Managing oversized models is simplified with the new print job splitter tool, allowing you to cleanly divide oversized print jobs into two manageable print jobs.

Advanced CorsetMaker enhancements

Specialized printing capabilities have been expanded with automatic stiffeners for corset openings.
