3D print service: an easy way to start a digital workflow
At Create it REAL, we believe in practicing what we preach. That’s why our 3D print service runs on the same technology and configurations our customers use daily. There are no hidden “industrial” versions or secret setups—just the real deal, proven in everyday production environments.
As a customer of our 3D print service, you can start a digital workflow and scale up later to your manufacturing system without major hurdles. The training you receive is easy to transfer, and you gain experience working alongside our 3D printing experts.
Why do we run a print service?
Our print service began as a strategic extension of our sales channels. Today, it serves a much broader purpose: enabling medical device companies to start production without heavy upfront investments in equipment. This service offers a low-risk entry point for companies exploring digital manufacturing to test, scale, and validate their products.
As Anders Bod Lund puts it, “I believe that ‘eating your dog biscuits’ is a way to improve your product continuously. Using our technology in-house every day provides a myriad of inputs to our engineering team, leading to the development of a better and more efficient product.”
Although we don’t manufacture products under our brand, we proudly support some of Europe’s largest medical device manufacturers by producing customized orthopedic devices on their behalf.
What we’ve delivered so far
Since the start of this year, we have printed and delivered over 150 orthopedic devices—including insoles, corsets, seats, and cushions. Each item reflects the power of our unique technologies, such as the patented Programmable Foam®.
What sets us apart is that these are not special or customized industrial setups. Instead, they are produced using the exact configurations our customers have access to. Demonstrating that advanced digital manufacturing is achievable and practical at scale.
Moving towards MDR compliance
Ensuring quality and regulatory compliance is our priority, so we have set a goal to become MDR compliant starting in Q3 2025. We are actively progressing towards offering an MDR-compliant print service, improving our production quality, and our ability to support customers navigating complex EU regulations.
Thanks to close collaboration with our partners, we’ve made great strides in interpreting and applying these regulations. Only making it easier for all stakeholders in our community to meet compliance standards.
What does this mean for you?
Our 3D print service is more than just production—it’s a proof point. Whether you are a distributor, medical device manufacturer, or orthopedic clinic, you can trust that our digital workflow is fast, scalable, clean, and sustainable.
Most importantly, our process is ready for you to implement on your site, without surprises or hidden barriers.
